ASSIGNMENT 2 (Cleaning Robot) Summary Draft 1
GERMii’s article
“How tech can ease the cleaning industry’s manpower crunch” (2021) informs the
public about a project done by GERMii seeks to explore the trends that will
influence public cleanliness. Whiz, a floorcare cleaning robot powered by
artificial intelligence developed by SoftBank Robotics in collaboration with
GERMii, cleaning is automated so cleaners can focus on tasks that benefit
people. Whiz automatically provides supervisors' comfort despite little
monitoring by automatically avoiding collisions and sending operators
"real-time data and alerts." Organizations can analyze data gathered
by robots and identify trends to improve workflows. The GERMii technology
transforms Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) creating a focused light beam that kills
bacteria, viruses, and diseases. This selection can be combined with Whiz. The
UV-C light module in Whiz is close to the floor to kill Covid-19, fungus, and
bacteria quickly. This works even on soft flooring like carpet. Organizations must
evolve as customers place more emphasis on cleanliness and boost service
capacity, efficacy, and efficiency. The solution to accomplishing these goals
lies in staff upskilling and the use of innovative tools.
